We were so happy to find the Gateway Transmission shop in Oak Harbor the people were so friendly and helpful. Our car was fixed and taken really good care of. Thanks so much and we will bring the car back for other services.

Considering that this was a terribly expensive problem I am satisfied that all work that was done needed to be done and was done correctly.

I am very happy with my rebuilt transmission my van has never ran so good as it does now.also my van was still clean when I got it back.No grease on the steering wheel or seats Thank You for that.

As usual, when I had a problem with my 2000 Mercury, Dave and Charles rose to the challenge to find out what the problem was and what was needed to fix the problems. This time around, I knew the main problem was with the front end hub assembly thingy and finally broke down to get that fixed. Right before the car went in, the car developed a running issue and Dave and Charles discovered that it had a "dead" coil which they fixed and finally, when they had those problems fixed, they discovered something that had been fixed a couple of years ago had become a problem and fixed that problem as well. These men know their stuff and they go the "extra" mile to provide me with great customer service each and every time.

I had been hearing a growling kind of sound when starting and putting the car in R. I called Dave and he had me bring it up to check out if the sound was from the new rebuild they had done about 11,000 miles back. He even offered to pick me up here in Freeland since no loaner was available. I could make other arrangements though, but I appreciated the offer. it turned out the noise was a broken motor mount - transaxel, tran, something or other (!) He showed me the part. I left the car with them on Saturday, Dec. 24 and picked it up today. So far so good - no "growling" do I hear. Good work Dave and company! dennis

Dave and his team did a great job - much to their disappointment they were sent the wrong part so the repair got set back a few days, difficult during this time of year. Yet everything under Dave's control went well and they went the extra mile to be sure our vehicle was back to running smoothly.

I have had Gateway work on another of my vehicles a few years ago and was very happy with the service. So when I had warning lights on my Tundra they were my first choice to repair it. Dave was able to work me in to the schedule and I Picked my truck up the next day. They did a great job at a very reasonable price. It so assuring that there are still repair shops out there that are honest and do good work! They will continue to be my choice for Auto Repair!

Brought my 1992 Ranger 4x4 in to get the transmission rebuilt. They noticed things I did not and consulted with me about it. The clutch also needed repair, plus the front drive shaft u-joint, and the water pump. Everything works great now.
