I had problems on how my car was driving. I was told it was the transmission in the car that was going. I took it to Gateway Transmission to diagnose the problem and I have to say they let me know everything that they was doing to find what the problem was. And tried their best to keep the cost down. After 2 hrs of diagnosing I had something that was disconnected and reflushed out the transmission fluid and gave me a filter. Car rides like a brand new Lexus..thanks Dave and Charles

GT's owner, Dave, bends over backwards to get things right, to work out payments, provide fair work, and complete good repairs, all in as timely a fashion as possible. GT rebuilt our transmission on our 2013 Grand Caravan in late 2016 as it passed 100,000 miles. 10 months and 30,000 miles later (yes, 30k) had it in for service and for going into limp mode just as we were about to go on vacation. Turnaround in one day, though unable to reproduce the problem. Honestly advised to not drive the van on a long trip for now, and worked through some problems with our CarCare One credit account to complete payment.

I had my 05 caravan in today to verify if the compressor was out and it was.My problem with Dave is he never gave me a price to check it out and he was going to give it to me for free! Yes free and after talking to him I decided to pay him because I was driving to Arizona and needed to no. At first I didn't understand why it was $160 to tell me what I already no about the car and it made me upset I could have got out of there free. Then after sitting home and thinking about it Dave was giving me a quote for everything in detail and after thinking about it that was fare. So nice job Dave for NOT sugar coating anything and letting me no that we have been very lucky nothing had broken down but a compressor I have now replaced 3 times in 18months because I used a cheap mechanic. Thank you Dave......Frank.

I searched online & read nothing but great reviews! I called and discussed what I needed and they asked me to come in for further diagnosis, I was in and out within 15 minutes and got my appointment the next day! They dropped me off and picked me up from the house instead of me waiting in the shop (I was going to wait in the shop cuz I wasn't able to find a ride) while working on my car. In the short ride from my house back to the shop (to pay Dave and drop him off) he asked how did I find them and I told him I searched online and he got 4.6 out of 5! He said "we're shooting for that 5 and I want to establish a good relationship with my costumers, and you being a first timer I want to be your mechanic and would like to take care of your car" to me that says a lot about his quality of work! He is not just after the money he wants partnership with his costumers and that makes me feel better knowing that my car is in good hands

Excellent service, quick repairs and a wealth of knowledge. Brought my 2008 BMW 335i in for a coolant problem and the crew at Gateway Transmissions was more than helpful diagnosing the problem and very quick to repair the water pump. Dave and the team really know how to treat their customers and are straight up with you genuinely making you feel welcome.
