Rather than every other place who just tells you and you’re forced to trust their word. You won’t find a more thorough and trustworthy place than Gateway!! The manager, Andrea is not only friendly but knowledgeable. The lobby/waiting area is welcoming offering a spacious area, comfortable couches and a huge plus.... snacks! I had taken my 2004 suburban to two Chevrolet Dealers in Everett and Lynwood. I was not treated properly or with respect. No follow up on phone, no printed quotes. The Suburban has 204,000 miles and has been a great car. I called Andrea at Car Care Clinic at Gateway Transmissions. In Oak Harbor. She was very helpful and asked specific questions. Then emailed me an estimate I picked up the suburban at the dealer and took it to Car Care Clinic at GatewayTransmissions. Andrea was very detailed in writing up my issues, I was able to talk to the mechanic Austin. "Which never happens at Chevrolet dealers". They kept me informed as the work progressed. They overhauled my transmission and fixed several other issues. Also sent it out for me to have it detailed inside and out which is a superior detail.
