My vehicle broke down on the highway recently and being new here I was at a loss of where to go. While standing by my car I met a woman and told her that my spouse and I had automotive shops in the past and was looking for a place I could trust. She highly recommended Gateway! I am so happy she did! My car got towed in and Derrick worked out a time and estimate. They put in a new Alternator and got me on the road in a reasonable amount of time and $. Brought my Honda pilot to this shop a few different times. Main work I had done was power steering rack replaced since mine was leaking. A couple of weeks later I started hearing a strange buzzing noise from the engine bay. Took it back to the shop twice and they could not figure out or recreate the issue, nonetheless they told me it was most likely the power steering pump and quoted me over $700 to replace. After researching it turned out to be a common noise from the PS pump due to a bad o ring. Got the new o ring for $5 from honda and changed it out myself, problem solved. After this bad diagnosis along with a couple of other issues, it was evident they just want to squeeze $ out of you , I decided to take my car elsewhere.

DON’T USE THEM!! My dad clearly asked for and paid for a transmission fluid changed NOT a transmission service. However he received a new filter and 6qts of new clean fluid on top of his old dirty fluid instead of 17qt of new fluid.

Great shop, great people, and they use only quality parts to service and care for people's vehicles! Been going to them for 3 years and i wont be stopping!

The great people at Gateway got me in and out the next day when every other place was backed up a week. On top of that everyone was extremely professional. I will definitely go back there the next time I need work!

had a rebuilt tranny put in, over $5K. Started making noise after a month. Took the owner for a ride and he assured me it was normal. Gave the car to my daughter in Vancouver. It broke down in a few months. Out $600 for a rental. New tranny installed, same issue several months later. I gave the car away.
