Took two times to figure out I had a bad battery. They somehow missed that when they tested it the first time and also said I had a "badly corroded" battery cable that they also didn't see after looking at it a couple times and saying they couldn't find anything wrong. They had already replaced the cable WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. This was after 3 weeks and two visits for a charging problem. They also couldn't diagnose an occasional engine noise or tell my my my tires rub when going around corners. I doubt I even needed battery cable. I think they couldn't find what was wrong, I feel ripped off. Never going here again. You did NOT get permission for the battery cable. I was called and informed it was done and I could pick it up.
Thank you for the review, Heather. At Vollans Automotive we hold ourselves to a high standard and want to provide a positive experience for anyone that comes to our shop. When working on your vehicle, we did find that the battery was going dead because it had an intermittent dead cell within it. The battery was replaced under the battery factory warranty at no charge. Additionally, we found corrosion in the cable between the starter and the battery, which resulted in the cable needing to be replaced. Before the work was done we did speak to someone on the phone and received permission for that replacement. We left a message on your phone regarding your concerns, and have not received a callback.
