They fixed it and I’m feeling better, thank you!
Rebecca, I’m so sorry to hear that you had a poor experience, and that the maintenance work performed and recommended on your vehicle were not adequately explained to you. The $130 you paid was not just to clean your brakes, but to adjust them as well. This was done because the rear brakes were not making sufficient contact, which causes unnecessary, excessive friction leading to early wear, as well as reducing stopping power. Ensuring that your brakes are properly adjusted ensures a longer life for the components, and a safer vehicle. If you haven’t noticed a difference in feel in your brakes, we would be happy to take care of the cost for you. Derrick will call you today. I was also sorry to hear that you had had your transmission serviced so recently, and still needed a service. As demonstrated by the pictures provided to you via our digital inspection, the transmission fluid was burnt and contaminated, creating the near black color you saw in the photographs. Regardless of whether or not your fluid has been serviced fewer than 10,000 miles ago, it is still important to get taken care of. The transmission fluid is responsible for cooling and lubricating your transmission, and in this condition it cannot do it’s job well. The fluid needs to be replaced to avoid significant, costly damage to the transmission. Perhaps the previously servicing shop can help take care of it?
