Dave knows transmissions, end of story. Dave and the other guy (Ed? did not quite catch his name) both know transmissions in depth. The shop has special tools and devices for spotting problems so they can be fixed. I had taken my car to an Everett Chevrolet dealership to fix a transmission leak which they did not fix. Dave fixed my automatic transmission leak. Great customer service, Dave set aside one of the lifts for my 1996 Chevrolet's arrival at the shop, and began work on the problem immediately. Dave then drove me in his personal vehicle to meet my wife for the ride home while my car was in the shop waiting for the too-hot transmission to cool down and order parts for it Would I drive 50 minutes to Gateway Transmission for a repair when there are others much closer to home?
