The crew at the Oak Harbor location is great! They are knowledgeable, and explain everything that they are doing and what needs to be done. I wouldn't go anywhere else and I live almost 3 hours away!

Be wary of working with Vollans. Once Tim views you as a “regular,” he will no longer call to provide you with an estimate before he instructs a tech to begin work. Also, be prepared to wait for days to have simple fixes performed; this is a popular shop with the locals, and things move slow in Sedro. Tim is a very friendly person, but he is also sarcastic and rude, which is somewhat paradoxical. I don’t believe that they overcharge, but they aren’t conscientious, either; they don’t change hoses, belts, etc. as a matter of course. Tl;dr: Go 20 miles north to Bellingham if you want professional service.

Gateway Oak Harbor cares about you and your car. Dave often takes the time to tell me how things happen, and how not to have things happen. If you want to feel safe the whole time you're driving, take your vehicle to Gateway Oak Harbor.
