Les, I’m sorry that your daughter’s car needed major transmission repair that neither of you could afford. I think that most reasonable people would not blame the repair shop for that outcome, but I understand that some people do need to lash out at a scapegoat.

Mark, thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience. I’m happy the you felt the staff were friendly and helpful. When I read your frustration with the price of a professional competent diagnosis and repair compared with the cost of a Do-It-Yourself project, I understand you. Unfortunately it’s an all-too-common perspective. I know that many people still do not respect the profession of mechanic, and subsequently feel that they do not deserve the salaries and benefits afforded other, similar professionals. I’m happy that once we successfully diagnosed your vehicle you had the time and ability to give it a happy ending.

Thanks for the nice words, but you told us your neighbor who works on cars in his spare time was going to help you out. That’s not exactly a competitor. Our clients are interested in working with trained, certified staff, genuine quality parts, and a 3 year nationwide warranty. That what they pay for and that’s what they get.
