Very, very unhappy about their deceptive price quote practices.
Marty, we are sorry that you did not find our services to your complete satisfaction. When you brought us your vehicle for what you believed may be transmission shifting issues, we recommended a diagnostic test to verify the problems and allow us to properly advise you. We disclosed the cost of the test to you, as well as possible outcomes, and you approved the testing as well as the fees. When the tests were completed, we formulated a course of correction that would restore your vehicle to proper working conditions and gave you a full written estimate for the work. You asked us to have the weekend to think about it. Monday you called and declined the work and asked us to prepare the vehicle for you to take it home, and we did so. You did not question the diagnostic fee, as you had already authorized the work. A few days later your wife arrived in our office and abruptly demanded a refund for the money you had spent, threatening to leave a negative review if our staff did not submit to her extortion. Our staff refunded the money and by doing that, we hoped that the threats would cease. When you arrived, you were driving a brand vehicle with temporary plates. That indicated to us that you decided to use your broken vehicle as a trade-in on a new one. We stand by our work and take all of our reviews very seriously. We are proud of our policy of being upfront and transparent in all our pricing practices, including giving accurate written estimates.
